About Me
Henna Shah is an avid traveller and ancient wellness enthusiast with a special focus on Ayurveda for Modern Living. A digital content marketer currently working for an EdTech company, Henna prioritises her passion for travel and documents her experiences along with geeking out on wellbeing rituals from around the world.
Henna typically travels with her husband or with family in a small group and she prefers comfort with occasional splurges on luxurious experiences. Her itineraries and recommendations are a good blend of touristy as well as off-beat places, slow travel along with spurts of adventure activities and exploring local food along with the occasional desi khana for when you get homesick. Henna is a vegetarian (eggetarian to be specific) and drops a list of vegetarian friendly recommendations in her content.
In a nutshell, Henna showcases the possibility of being a globetrotter on an Indian passport as she romanticises the places she visits through her words and iPhone photos.
While on airplane mode, Henna always has her head buried in a book on Traditional Chinese Medicine or The Little Book of Hygge. She is also a lifelong student of Ayurveda and is studying it from one of the original ancient texts (Ashtang Hridayam) to apply these time tested principles to our fast paced lives.
In the past, Henna has also conducted a virtual workshop on Ayurveda for Modern Living for smaller groups including student communities at Columbia SPS and IIT-Madras.
As a content creator, writer and strategist, Henna has worked with lifestyle content platforms, tourism boards, and food brands to help promote unique experiences.
